Enigma is a search engine designed to explore hidden services on the Tor network. The dark web contains thousands of sites, many of which are difficult to discover without prior knowledge of their addresses. Enigma attempts to make this landscape easier to navigate by indexing publicly accessible `.onion` services and making them searchable. Our goal is simple: provide a fast, minimal, and privacy-respecting way to discover hidden services. Enigma does not track users, does not build profiles, and does not attempt to deanonymize visitors. Queries are processed in real time and no personal data is collected. The project takes inspiration from the historical Enigma cipher machine — a device built to encode messages and conceal information. In a similar spirit, Enigma helps users navigate the encrypted and often hidden parts of the web. Hidden services are constantly appearing and disappearing. If you know a site that should be indexed, you can submit it through the submission page. Enigma is an independent project focused on simplicity, privacy, and exploration. enigm@aaathats3as.com
